Sandy
Gonsalves leads workforce investment professionals
to successfully apply proven marketing techniques to reach,
serve and satisfy customers. Workforce investment system partners
rely on her insightful and practical marketing planning, particularly
as it relates to business customers. She is also well known
for marketing materials that are targeted, persuasive and
have maximum impact.
Recent projects include
a Business Customer Marketing Plan for the Tacoma, Washington
workforce investment system and job seeker and business customer
brochures for a Sullivan County, New York One-Stop partner.
In addition, she authors the Department of Labor's Customer
Service Awards Catalogue. As former marketing director for
the Massachusetts Department of Employment and Training, Sandy
created and implemented numerous successful marketing campaigns
for various partners.
Sandy strongly believes
in "de-mystifying" marketing. "Most marketing
is common sense. First, you objectively walk in your customers'
shoes and figure out their wants and needs. Then you align
your services to meet those needs. Get this right, and you
will have satisfied customers."
Sandy's diverse
private sector experience includes both product and service
marketing for numerous firms. She holds a B.S. in Marketing/Business
Administration from Boston University.
